Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 9, 2026
Operator: SheetFox CRM
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how SheetFox CRM (the "Add-on") handles information when you use it inside Google Sheets.
2. Data We Access and Process
To provide Add-on functionality, we process:
- Spreadsheet CRM data you manage (for example contacts, deals, interactions, settings).
- Active user email from Google Workspace for attribution and first-open tracking.
- Spreadsheet-level developer metadata used for product key and trigger state.
- Internal app state in Apps Script Document Properties and Document Cache.
3. How We Use Data
- Run CRM workflows directly in your spreadsheet.
- Support Add-on actions (create/update/delete workflow items, notes, and settings).
- Install and manage spreadsheet triggers (`onEdit`, `onChange`) for automation.
- Support audit attribution (for example, who created an interaction).
4. OAuth Scopes and Why They Are Needed
- `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets`: read and write spreadsheet CRM data and structure.
- `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui`: show custom menus, dialogs, and sidebars in Google Sheets.
- `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email`: identify the active user for behavior and attribution.
- `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.scriptapp`: create and manage installable triggers for spreadsheet automation.
5. Data Storage Location
CRM data remains in your Google spreadsheet and Apps Script document storage. You control that data in your Google account.
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
Current Add-on code does not send CRM data to external APIs and does not use an external database for Add-on CRM operations.
We do not sell your CRM data.
7. Security
We use Google Workspace and Apps Script platform controls and follow least-privilege access based on required scopes. No system is perfectly secure, and you should also maintain appropriate account and spreadsheet access controls.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Your spreadsheet data retention is primarily controlled by you in Google Sheets. Internal Add-on state in Document Properties/Cache persists only as needed for Add-on operation.
You can remove data by editing or deleting spreadsheet content, removing metadata, uninstalling the Add-on, or contacting us at support@sheetfox.io.
9. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and edit your spreadsheet data directly in Google Sheets.
- Control who has access to your spreadsheets through Google sharing settings.
- Stop processing by uninstalling or disabling the Add-on and its triggers.
- Request privacy support at support@sheetfox.io.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date on this page.
